The Final Stretch

Hi readers. Well guess what? Today I took my last finals, I'm pretty much all packed, and graduation is tomorrow. Crazy, huh? Its been an insane year, but I'm excited to go and take a break, soak up some rays and have fun in the summer sun. Huzzah!!! Here's hoping that everything for the summer will work out, I'll make some fantastic memories, meet new people and learn a lot about myself and the world around me.  Until then, keep it real! Much love!!!

National Kiss a Mormon day and Hug an Australian while you're at it!

I found this hilarious. Enjoy! dbl click if you cant read it all the way ;)
If you are perplexed by this title, let me explain. These are celebrations that occur on this day. Also another holiday I failed to mention is National Static Cling Day. So if today, you happen to experience the unpleasant feeling of static cling, relish the moment and celebrate! This day only comes around once a year! Oh, and go chew on a pretzel- its national pretzel day too!

Woes of an insomniac

Three a.m. Here I sit, my insomnia a constant companion to the gentle whirring of CPU's and frantic typing of fellow SUU students that encircle me here in the computer lab. I tried to slumber here, but found the cogs in my mind kept whirring despite my brain's feeble, yet incessant pleas of exhaustion. I watched Peter Pan, listened to music, sat still, gazed at a blank screen, but to no avail.  Alas, the woes of the insomniac. So now, I watch a re-run of glee. Yes, I lead a pathetic life. Huzzah. Here's hoping for some slumber this week. Until then, enjoy life and get sleep if you can. Adios!

Meat Tenderizer, please.

Hello Readers. It's that time again- "Hell Week" has returned. It's the last week of school before finals, and currently my back feels like a side of beef jerky in Death Valley. So, I was contemplating various methods of possibly remedying the situation.
Option 1orOption 2 Option the third

Or maybe, perhaps Option 4 might be best equipped for optimum meat tenderizing.
What do you think? I'd like to hear your input before I choose one of the following methods or completely seize up with so much tension, I fall over and die. That is all.

TRUMAN-Still in Love

http://www.reverbnation.com/controller/audio_player/detachable_player/artist_44931?autoPlay=true
So, This is Ben and Chad Truman. They're the son's of Diamond Rio's drummer, Dan Truman. They're currently going to BYU. Ben, the lead singer, didn't start singing and playing guitar until his freshman year of college!!! (No, I'm not some creepy stalker. I heard them for the first time at the beginning of this year and I met them a couple months ago after they dedicated a song to me. They're really sweet, awesome dudes.) So, I'm still hopelessly in love with these guys. They're AMAZING!!! Check out the link- it has all their awesome songs you can sit and enjoy. My favs happen to be "I want you there", "Get Lost",  and "Will He Dance?". So take a listen and tell me what you think :) Hope you have a great day!!!

Angst and psychology

One might think that the research and psychology would put one's mind at ease, but I tell you today, it does nothing of the sort. At this present moment in time, after sifting for hours for suitable topic in hundreds upon hundreds of scientific journal articles, I am giving thanks for the fact that I am no where near any sharp objects. All I want to do is gouge out my eyes, scream at the top of my lungs and run around in circles senselessly, right here in the quiet, sanctioned walls of the library at Southern Utah University.  Alas, I can not do such a thing. The reason being that I must write a 5-7 page research paper in APA style before 10 o'clock tomorrow morning. And I STILL don't have a suitable topic for said paper. BAH!!!!  I want to curl into a tiny little ball, cry, roll to Disneyland and forget that there was ever such a thing as an APA research paper that's due as the sun rises. Oh procrastination, my muse and nemesis, how I hate thee.
